PIAR™ began from my own frustration. Why do athletic shoes get all the science, while dress shoes leave our feet and knees begging for mercy? Like so many women, I was ready to give up on heels altogether.
As an avid runner, I loved my running shoes. When I finished a morning run and headed into my day, I always wished I could bring that sneaker comfort with me. It didn’t make sense — running shoes are packed with tech, but dress shoes were stuck in the past. That’s why I started PIAR.
With the same determination I brought to triathlon training, I poured my energy into designing The Performance Heel™. Every detail — from cushioning and alignment to materials and shape — was carefully chosen to support you all day, so you can wear heels again, confidently and comfortably. The patent-pending design brings true running shoe comfort to a classic block heel.
